Gargling: Its efficacy for laryngeal, inflammatory, or edematous changes

Abstract: The therapeutic effect of gargling has no documented origin in medical literature. This study radiographically localized radiopaque material during gargling to show that gargled fluid does not bathe irritated or inflammed vocal cords.
